“InterContinental Melbourne The Rialto’s involvement with Mainartery Sculpture Studio has positively impacted the experience of our guests. Peppered throughout our public areas, the sculptures support our desire to position the hotel as a lifestyle destination. Softening and humanising, the pieces bring fluidity to a space that is otherwise linear while simultaneously creating interesting focal and talking points. The bonus for us is that many of the pieces are designed in Melbourne, which speaks to our desire of offering the quintessential Melbourne experience. The pieces certainly have been well received by guests and staff alike affording the spaces they occupy to be renewed as well. The larger pieces have especially highlighted the unique scale of the hotel with it’s internal laneway and soaring glass atrium. Todd has listened to our objectives and come up with solutions that successfully address the needs of our spaces. While the quality of the design and execution of the sculptures speak for themselves, his direction, knowledge and flexibility have provided for trouble free and impactful installations.”
